Servicetagung 2008

“Gemeinsam der Zukunft Richtung geben.” (“Joining forces to give the future a direction”) – this was the motto by which the Servicetagung for the Mercedes-Benz Sales Organisation in Germany (MBVD) took place in the Estrel Hotel in Berlin on 21 and 22 October 2008.

The target group for this range of events taking place on a regular basis is represented by management personnel from the Daimler dealer organisation. With more than 1,400 participants from Mercedes-Benz, smart® and for the first time Mitsubishi Fuso organisations, the Servicetagung 2008 achieved a record number of visitors. The MBVD (Mercedes-Benz Sales Organisation in Germany) hosting the event packaged an event mix in which the participants had the opportunity to compile their personal conference agenda choosing from a total of 18 brand-specific and cross-brand service forums and visit 15 presentation stands manned by the internal departments at MBVD.

Apart from plenty of expert dialogues, relaxation was by no means forgotten – massages and a fruit cocktail bar offered the possibility to enjoy a brief respite enabling participants to clear their heads before venturing into the next round of forums. A joint evening event for the participants of the first and second days of the conference rounded off the programme with musical accompaniment and acrobatics by performers Tanja and Frida.

Within the scope of the project, 2SBM acted as a general contractor, responsible for planning, co-ordination and control of all sub-contractors as well as performance on site.
