smart forfour

2SBM won the commission for the smart forfour Eurotraining 2004 project on the basis of a competitive presentation. In collaboration with the Global Training division, which is responsible for the training and development of all employees of the DaimlerChrysler group throughout the world, a concept was developed for the preparation of a total of 1,800 salespeople and technical trainers from 26 European markets for the forthcoming introduction of the smart forfour.

The objective was to teach the participants about the new vehicle and new competitive situation within the space of 24 hours.

Highlights of the event, which was held in El Vendrell near Barcelona, included the sports-oriented opening and closing events in the Sports Arena as well as the holding of competition drives in outside locations.

The project involved: development of the overall concept, consultancy, planning and realisation as general contractor responsible for organisation and co-ordination of all sub-contractors (covering areas such as technology, hotels, stand construction, logistics and catering).
